On Friday, September 25th, EBISD and the Houston Texans will team up to honor former East Bernard student athlete and current professional football player, Shane Lechler. Shane will be recognized at the beginning of the game for his professional accomplishments and will give the coveted NFL Golden Football to EBISD to display in his honor. Shane will also participate in the coin toss and provide an inspirational pep talk to the football team prior to game time.
In addition, the Houston Texans promotion team will be at the stadium starting at 5pm with inflatable games, photo opportunities with some of the Houston Texas cheerleaders, and a variety of other Texan fan fair. The entire EB community is invited to attend to enjoy the festivities and honor Shane Lechler and his accomplishments.
