EBISD Cross Country Results- Shiner Invitational

The East Bernard Cross Country Teams competed in the Shiner Invitational.  The Varsity Boys  Finished 3rd out of 12 Teams.  Industrial was the first place team with 85 points, followed by East View with 96 points , and East Bernard in 3rd with 109 points.  Individually, Caleb Moseley was the first East Bernard runner to cross in 17:13 for 7th place.  Jacob Muniz was 13th in 17:47, and Blaine Whitley was 18th in 18:02 to earn medalist honors.  Isaac Ortiz was 30th in 18:30, Russell Zahradnik was 43rd in 18:58, Jacob Wondrash was 45th  in 19:06, Jackson Barta 50th in 19:26, David Martinez 53rd in 19:38, and Shane Kresta 80th in 20:51. There were 105 boys competing in the race.  The Varsity girls earned the Invitational Championship. They finished first with 19 points, followed by East View with 87 points, and Calhoun in 3rd with 115 points.  There were 9 teams competing in the 3A--5A Division.  Individually, Liz Guerra was 1st in 11:50, Jess Rabius 2nd in 12:15, AJ Navarro 4th in12:38, Kensi Muzik 5th in 12:42, Jillian Hlavinka  7th in 12:52, and Corrina Navarro 16th in 13:17 to all earn medalist honors.  Alyssa Schulte was 27th in 13:55, and Kasey Kretszchmar was 39th in 14:22.  There were 91 girls competing in the large school race.  Both teams ran well with several runners having their best times of the season.  The Jr. High teams competed with the Girls earning the Runner-Up spot.  Shiner St. Paul finished 1st with 39 points and East Bernard was 2nd with 45 points. There were 11 teams competing in the Jr. High race  with a total of 105 runners.  Individually, Caeli was the first EB girl to cross in 3rd place with a time of 13:20.  Aracely finsihed 7th in 14:27, Grace Tovar was 10th in 14:36, and Kimball Swiger was 17th in 15:10 to all earn medalist honors.  Libby Hancock finished 21st in 15:37, Kara Riley was 25th in 15:55, Caroline Kunz was 37th in 16:43, Camden east 58th in 17:52, Kendall Douthit 59th in 17:57, Cheyenne Guebert 76th in 19:17, Amber Suarez 83rd in 19:26, and Sydney Sandovall 83rd in 19:32.  The Jr. High Boys finished 4th overall.  Moulton was 1st with 84 points, Calhoun 2nd with 108 points, Shiner St. Paul 3rd with 119 points  and EB with 122 points.  There were 12 teams competing with 143 runners in the race.  Individually, Reagan Whitley finished the 2 mile race in 2nd with a time of 11:45, followed by Bo Badger in 16th place with a time of 13:03, Carson Little in 20th place with a time of 13:09 to all earn medalist honors.  Barrett Whitley was 51st in 14:18, Colby Townsend 52nd in 14:20, Christian Rodriguez 55th in 14:37, Trey Steffens 56th in 14:48, and Keith Atkinsson 85th in 15:31.  Congratulations to all the
