EBJH Football vs Boling Results

7th Grade


7th Grade Brahmas Win District Opener
The 7th grade Brahmas defeated Boling 8-0 to open district play Oct 8th.  Kaleb Marek scored on a 25 yard run on the Brahmas first possession and Nik Schatz added the 2-point conversion to provide the Brahmas with all the points they would need.  The defense did the rest as the Brahmas held Boling scoreless for the game.  The Brahmas improve to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in district play.  Offensive standouts for the Brahmas were Grant Prazak, Garrett Heimann, Cade Peloquin,  Riley Grant, Blake Walters, Riley Moseley and Riley Polak.  Defensive standouts were Cayden Hall, Raul Tavarez, Wil Krenek, Devin Chapman, Dylan Baird, Tyler Hunter, Andrew Dirba and Bryce Somer.   The Brahmas next game will be at Brazos October 15th at 4:30

East Bernard 8th 28   Boling 0

1st quarter east Bernard gets on the scoreboard with a nice run by Tanner Baggett to make the score 6-0
2nd quarter the Brahmas exploded for 22 second quarter points to get to halftime with a 28-0 lead. The first TD was a 55 yard pass to Reagan Whitley from Carson Little with Keith Atkinson adding the 2 point conversion. Then Carson Little made a 50 yard touchdown run followed by the 2 point conversion by Douglas Grymes. Tanner Baggett finished the scoring for the Brahmas with a 40 yard run and the extra point by Cory Rivera was blocked.
     The second half was a defensive contest with neither team scoring. The East Bernard defense was lead by Cole Lee, Carson Little, Kameron Mathews, Bo Badger, and Colby Jedlicka. Bo Badger made a nice TD catch that was called back because of a penalty. Offensive standouts Alex Fuentes, Jose Quintero, Carson Little, and Tanner Baggett.
