The East Bernard J.V. football team beat the Boling Bulldogs
by a score of 37-0 last night to remain undefeated on the season. Scoring for
East Bernard was Cade Koeppen with an 18 yard touchdown reception, Trevor Bagby
with a touchdown and 2-pt conversion, DeLeon Perkins with a touchdown, Zachary
Gohlke with a touchdown, Christian Alcalar with a touchdown, Thomas Long with a
2-pt conversion, and Taihron Nichols with a 2-pt conversion.. Thomas Long also
added a PAT to round out the scoring at 37. Other players with receptions were:
William Bohacek, Layton Swoboda, Taihron Nichols, and Hunter Goudeau. The
Brahmas played stiff defense all night, led by Logan Baird, Justin Billeau,
Mason Vasut, and Hunter Goudeau. Austin Draper had two pass breakups to
contribute to another shutout, making it their third of the season. The J.V.
team will be back in action on the road against the Brazos Cougars. The game is
scheduled for October 15th around 7:30 pm.
