East Bernard traveled to Boling Friday night to take on the bulldogs in the second round of district play. The girls struggled to collectively come together but still pushed hard to come home with the win over Boling. Scores: 25-13, 25-15, 25-17 This puts the Varsity girls into an 8-0 lead in District play and a 33-6 Overall record.
The JV girls also brought home a district win over Boling with the scores of: 25-10, 25-19 putting them into a 8-0 lead in District play.
We host Brazos this Friday night at 5:30 and we would love to pack the stands to help us win the battle against the cougars on Homecoming.
Kill Leaders against Boling: R. Rabius and S. Demny with 12 kills each followed by J. Rabius with 10 and S. Show 6 kills. Atteberry and Lee each providing 2 kills.
Defensively against Boling: S. Show and M. Plunkett putting in a combined 17 Digs. Serving leaders were M. Atteberry with 21 points and 1 Ace, S. Show 18 points and 2 Aces, R. Rabius 10 points and 3 Aces.
Set Assist: R. Rabius with 27 Assist and 4 Digs with A. Reyes with 14 Assist and 3 Digs.
