The JV Girls Basketball team defeated Brazos on Friday night by a score of 62-26.
Leading the way for the Brahmarettes was Kristen Morse with 16 pts., 14 of which were in the 2nd quarter. Maylynn Plunkett had 9 pts., Hadley Carr and Hallye Mica each with 8 pts., Brooke
Polak-7 pts., Lindsey Matej-6 pts., Bailey Jankowski-4 pts., and Angie Cruz and Cheyenne
Novicke with a bucket each. Angie Cruz, Hallye Mica and Kristen Morse were defensive
standouts for the Brahmarettes.
CONGRATULATIONS to the JV Girls Basketball Team who completed their District schedule
with an undefeated record of 10-0. The girls defeated Rice last night 37-31. Kristen Morse
had the hot hand for the Brahmarettes scoring 19 pts. Bailey Hlavinka had 6 pts., Brooke
Polak-4 pts., and the following girls all contributed 2 pts. each: Angie Cruz, Malynn Plunkett,
Cheyenne Novicke, and Lindsey Matej. Angie Cruz, Kristen Morse and Lindsey Matej were
defensive standouts for the team.
The JV girls had an overall record of 19-2 and a 10-0 District record.
