EBHS JV and Freshmen Football Results







The East Bernard J.V. football team turned in another dominating performance last night, beating the Schulenburg Shorthorns by a final score of 47-0 to remain undefeated on the season. The Brahmas marched down the field on the opening possession courtesy of a Thomas Long 78 yard touchdown run, and never looked back. Scoring for the Brahmas was Thomas Long with a touchdown on the ground, through the air, and added a 2-point conversion, Braden Janecek with a Touchdown and two 2-point conversions. Cade Koeppen with a 17 yard touchdown reception, Trevor Bagby with a touchdown and 2-point conversion, Zachary Gohlke with a touchdown, and Taihronne Nichols with a 2-point conversion. Thomas Long added the final PAT to round out the scoring at 47. The Brahmas played stiff defense all night, led by Logan Baird, Zachary Gohlke, and Victor Tichacek. The Defense pitched another shutout, their second in only 4 games. East Bernard will be back in action next Thursday, September 24, as they travel to Hempstead to take on the Bobcats.









The East Bernard Freshmen football team traveled to Weimar to play the Wildcats in the third game of the season. The Brahmas came to play, jumping ahead early and never looking back on their way to a 30-0 win over Weimar’s JV. Scoring for the Brahmas was Hunter Goudeau with one touchdown and Destin Schuler with 3 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion. Justin Bosse also powered his way in for a 2 point conversion. Grady Prazak and Joey Stearman contributed in the passing game by hauling in receptions of more than 25 yards each. The defense played great throughout the game and put up a shutout for the second week in a row. The defense was led by Isaac Munoz who had an interception and a pass break up. Kevin Martinez and Joseph Vacek also played a big role for the Brahma defense. The Brahmas are at home next Thursday to play Rosenberg Terry at Memorial Stadium.
