BRAHMARETTE VOLLEYBALL

The Brahmarettes traveled to Shiner Tuesday night for a solid competition.  All three teams came out with a win.

The Varsity won 25-13, 22-25, 25-22, 25-20 increasing their overall record to 33-8.
The girls were able to see a different kind of play which was good.  Shiner did somethings a little different and it made the girls have to adjust.  It's very encouraging when I can ask them to change something and they can do it effectively.  Brazos will be coming to us Friday night.  This will be a big game for our girls.

Kill leaders were Ashley Dusek 17, and Terralyn Williams 16
Kelsey Goodwin had 36 assists and 3 aces.  Dusek also served up 3 aces.
Defensively Dusek led the digs with 24 while Amanda Boettcher scooped up 15 and Goodwin picked up 13.
The big blocker for the evening was Miranda Lehmann with 6 solo blocks.

Thanks for supporting the girls.
