Brahmarettes - Playing For A Cure

Last year the East Bernard Brahmarette's started a new tradition in an attempt to play for something larger than a win on the court. They played their season for a win in the battle against breast cancer. This year as the tradition continues, they are playing for a win in fighting brain cancer. Two precious people in the Brahmarette family lost their battle with brain cancer.Brandi Ward, Brahmarette Alumni/EBISD teacher and Mike Ellisor, father in law to Coach Schmidt and grandpa to Aliska Schmidt, both fought hard against this beast of a disease.
We invite you to join us Friday, February 3rd beginning at 5pm as we unite with the Hallettsville Brahmas/Lady Brahmas in raising funds that will be donated to the Dr Marnie Rose Foundation.

Tickets will be sold for chances for various prize drawings including 2-game balls and to compete in halftime contests such as 'Mad Money Madness'and 'Shoot-Out Challenge'.Tickets will be $1 for 1, $5 for 6 and $10 for 18. There will also be a table setup in the foyer selling the remaining Brahmarette team t-shirts ($15) and 'Coach's Crusaders' koozies ($3) with all profits being donated as well.If unable to attend and want to make a donation anyway or if you would like to join us for the 10th Annual 'Run For The Rose' 1K/5K Family Fun Run/Walk, log onto www.runfortherose.kintera.org/coachscrsaders (yes, I know I forgot the u in crusaders when I initially setup the page…sorry)
