Huge congratulations to seniors, Kendall Araguz and Cana Matthys! They have both been recognized as National Hispanic Scholars by the National Hispanic Recognition Program. The program recognizes approximately 5,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors each year from among the more than 400,000 juniors who take the PSAT.
To be considered to receive recognition from the NHRP, students must:
1) Take the PSAT/NMSQT in their junior year;
2) Be at least one-quarter Hispanic or Latino descent
3)Achieve the minimum required PSAT/NMSQT cut score for their region; and.
4) Have a junior, mid-year, cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
