Your Brahma baseball teams traveled to Hithcock on Friday night and came away with 2 well-earned victories over the Bulldogs. In the first game, the JV defeated Hitchcock by a score of 13-1 to improve to 3-0 in district, and extend their winning streak to 5 in a row. Collecting hits for the Brahmas was Blake Jedlicka with 3 hits (including a triple), 3 runs, and an RBI. Caydan Hall had 2 hits (including a triple), 3 RBI's, and a run. Weston Swoboda had a triple, 2 runs, and an RBI. Raul Tavares had a hit, 2 RBI's, and 2 runs. Colby Townsend had a hit, 2 RBI's, and a run. Trey Steffens had a hit and an RBI. Luke Minks added a hit and a run. Bryce Somer had an RBI and a run. Keith Atkinson added an RBI, and Cole Polak added a run.
In the second game, the varsity baseball team defeated the bulldogs 16-4 to improve to 2-1 in district play. Leading the Brahmas at the plate was Reagan Whitley with 3 hits, 3 RBI's, and 2 runs. Carson Little had 2 hits and a run. Brennan Peloquin had 2 hits, 3 RBI's, and a run. Hunter Goudeau had 2 hits and an RBI. Kolby Rivera had a hit, 2 RBI's, and 3 runs. Chris Murrile had a hit and 2 runs. Payton Peloquin added 2 runs, while Bo Badger, Shane Hlavinka and Dallas Novicke added a run each to round out the scoring.
Both teams will be back in action tomorrow as they host Danbury, JV beginning at 4:30.
