EBHS Thanksgiving Sports Update

The J.V. girls traveled to Sacred Heart on Tuesday afternoon to play their fourth game of the season. The Brahmarettes were down 14-15 at halftime but used a stingy defense the second half to pull ahead and win 30-21. Samantha Rabius had the hot hand by scoring 14 points. Also scoring were: Madison Crist-5 pts., Reagan Goudeau-4 pts., Camryn Whitley-3 pts, and Kenadi Domel and Jolie Peloquin with a basket each.

The girls are 4-0 on the season and will host Bloomington on Tuesday before traveling to Hallettsville for a tournament on Thursday and Saturday.
 
The East Bernard Brahmarettes suffered the first loss of their season yesterday as they fell to Sacred Heart by a final of 30-29 bringing their season record to 1-1. Leading the offense for the Brahmarettes was Deedee Smith with 10 points, Cheslee Karasek with 9, Erin Beaird with 4, Zoey Talas with 4, and Brooke Dirba with 2 points. The Brahmarettes will be back in action on Tuesday, November 27 as they host Bloomington. JV will begin at 5:00 with the varsity game to follow.
