The J.V. Girls Basketball Team hosted Van Vleck and Hallettsville yesterday to kick off the 2018-2019 season. The Brahmarettes beat Van Vleck by a score of 56-9. Scoring for the team were: Paige Nixon and Madison Crist-8 pts. each, Keatan Fortenberry and Camryn Whitley-6 pts. each, Lexi Marik and Zoey Talas-5 pts. each, McKenna Novicke, Peyton McGuire and Taylor Bottoms-4 pts. each, Dakota Domel, Lauren Reiger and Courtney Dickson-2 pts. each.
Keatan Fortenberry, Zoey Talas, Peyton McGuire and Taylor Bottoms carried the strength defensively.
In game 2 the Brahmarettes defeated Hallettsville 37-26. Scoring were:
