The ASVAB test will be on October 30. Any Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors are eligible to take the test. It is a 3-hour free exam that measures in four domains: verbal, math, Science/Tech, and Spatial. It provides a high-quality career exploration and planning assistance to students who take it. If the students are interested in the military, the scores will tell which positions they would do well in. If the students are NOT interested in the military, it is a good test to see where their interests and strengths are. Sign ups will be until October 15.
Also, the PSAT test 8/9 and 10/11 will be given on Wednesday, October 10. All EBISD sophomores will be paid for by the district. Any others will be as follows:
8/9: $11, 10/11: $16. The test will be at the Legion Hall, and we will be transporting students via bus. Do not send cash. All checks may be made to EBISD. Those sign ups will start now and go until September 28.
All sign ups should be done in Mrs. Sharp's office or via email. Signups via Social Media are not accepted.
