Girls defeated the Danbury Panthers on Friday by a score of 43-13. Emily Kurtz
had the hot hand by scoring 30 pts. for the Brahmarettes. Also scoring were:
Mackensi Muzik-6 pts., Morgan Kubes, Alyssa Schulte and Blaire Berry-2 pts.
each and Brooke Dirba with a free throw.
The girls
travel to Rice Tuesday and will host Brazos on Friday.

Team is 11-3 on the season and 4-0 in District.
The
Brahmarettes defeated Rice last night 54-29. Mackensi Muzik was the leading
scorer with 23 pts. Also contributing were: Lexi Marik-8pts., Brooke Dirba-7
pts., Hayley Hoegemeyer, Taylor Bottoms and Blaire Berry-4 pts. each, Bailey
Whitley-2 pts., and Morgan Kubes with a free throw.

Team is now 12-3 on the season and 5-0 in District.
Last night the Brahmarettes traveled to Rice for their 4th
district game. East Bernard found themselves down 10 heading into the 4th
quarter before rallying to tie the game up and eventually win in an overtime
thriller, 65-63. Leading scorers for the Brahmarettes were Rebecca Rabius with
18, Sabrina Show with 16, Kristen Morse with 15, Julia Janczak with 7, Maycie
Atteberry with 4, Cheslee Karasek with 3, and Cheyenne Novicke with 2. The win
improves their season record to 15-10, and 3-1 in District. The Brahmarettes
will wrap up the first round of district play on Friday night, at home, against
Brazos, JV Maroon at 5:00 with Varsity to follow.
