This Saturday we took 15 students to the Jr. High All-Region Band Auditions in Stafford, TX. We had a great turnout amongst everyone and here are our results.
Emma Potts ranked 64th out of 100 flutes.
Sarah Garcia ranked 68th out of 100 flutes
Savannah Aubuchon ranked 70th out of 100 flutes.
Valerie Grigar ranked 27th out of 100 clarinets and earned 3rd chair in the Concert Band.
Karis Hlavinka ranked 31st out of 50 alto saxophones.
Angeleahna Mejorado ranked 38th out of 50 alto saxophones.
Matthew Murrile ranked 68th out of 84 trumpets.
Ruth Anne Enriquez ranked 53rd out of 97 trombones.
Camden East ranked 17th out of 45 baritones.
Kyle Kopecky ranked 29th out of 45 baritones.
Bailey Gubert ranked 30th out of 45 baritones.
Garrett Heimann ranked 3rd out of 36 tubas and earned 3rd chair in the Wind Ensemble.
Devon Bowen ranked 21st out of 36 tubas.
Robert Davis ranked 44th out of 90 percussionists.
I am so proud of all of our students for going out and giving their all.
The All-Region Concert will be January 21, 2017 in Needville. Come out and hear some great music and see our two East Bernard representatives, Garrett and Valerie!
