Winning Weekend for EB

Our EB students really had an outstanding Friday and weekend. KHOU started our day off right inspiring the EB Spirit with a pep rally and live news airing. The trashcan band stole the morning show and continued to not disappoint the crowd once again at the afternoon pep rally. As the school day ended, EB fans headed to Sealy to watch our volleyball team. The Brahmarettes won the first seed playoff spot and co-champion title after a tough 5-game battle on Friday. Back to EB, where our football team did their part to keep the winning streak alive with a strong performance over Danbury, 68-0. Also on Friday our FFA LDE teams competed well at the district practice meet: two 2nd place, one 3rd, one 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th. Saturday our girls and boys cross country teams showed our region just how cross country is done and came away with first place (girls) and third place (boys) honors and both are headed to the state meet. Then on Saturday, forty five EB FFA members gathered to say "THANK YOU" to the EB community by completing 4 different community service projects. On Sunday, the EB NHS had it's induction ceremony and welcomed in the new member from this school year. Turn out was great and we thank all the parents and family members who came to the induction. There is so much to love and be proud of here in EB!
