EBHS English Summer Reading Selections

Pre-AP students are required to read their respective novel(s) for next year's English course.

Summer reading assignments for the 2016-2017 school year:

9th grade -     To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

10th grade -   In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, 

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

11th grade -   1984 by George Orwell

**EBHS does not have the following books for check out:

 In Cold Blood by Truman Capote

1984 by George Orwell

**Students are expected to read the novel(s) and be prepared for an assessment upon returning to school.
