The East Bernard Brahmas beat the Buffalo Bison in Game 2 on
Saturday by a score of 5-4 to become Area Champions and advance to the third
round of the playoffs. Travis Hlavinka’s 3-run homerun in the bottom of the 5th
proved to be the deciding factor putting the Brahmas on top for good. Other
players with hits were JJ Talas who added 2 hits and 2 RBI’s, Jake Zurek with a
double and a run, and Lane Kolafa with a single and a run. The Brahmas will
play Central Heights in the 3rd round of the playoffs this weekend.
