This past Friday night, the East Bernard J.V. baseball team
beat Hempstead by a score of 14-4. The Varsity fell behind 7-0 and charged back
to beat the Bobcats by a score of 10-7. Leading the Brahmas at the plate was
Lane Kolafa with 3 hits and 2 RBI’s, Kyle Socha with a hit and 4 RBI’s, Jake
Zurek with 2 hits and a run scored, Matthew Tovar with 2 hits, 2 runs scored,
and an RBI, Travis Hlavinka with a hit and a run scored, and Edward Garza with
an RBI and 2 runs scored.
