The East Bernard J.V. baseball team racked up 14 hits on
their way to a 17-4 victory over Boling. Their season record is 8-1-1 and they
are 5-1 in District. They will be back in action on Monday at home against
Brazos.
The varsity baseball team won a hard fought 2-0 game against
the Bulldogs of Boling. Leading the charge for the Brahmas at the plate was JJ
Talas with 2 hits, Allen Anderson with a hit and a run, Jared Rejsek with a hit
and an RBI, and Travis Hlavinka with a hit and a run. Cody Lehmann turned in a
stellar performance on the mound allowing just 4 hits in 7 shutout innings of
work. Their season record is now 12-6, and 6-2 in district. They will be back
in action on Friday against Hitchcock.
