The East Bernard J.V. baseball team competed in the Columbus
Tournament yesterday and came away with 2 wins to put themselves in the
Championship game on Saturday. The first game of the day featured your Brahmas
against the Tidehaven Tigers. Payton Peloquin delivered a walkoff double to win
the game for the Brahmas by a score of 7-6 in extra innings. The second game of
the day featured East Bernard versus the host team, Columbus. The Brahmas
racked up 13 hits on their way to a 9-2 victory to put themselves in the
championship game. Earning the wins on the mound were Layton Swoboda and
Stephen Castillo. The championship game is scheduled for a 6:00 start time. The
J.V. season record is now 2-0-1.
