The East Bernard Baseball team beat the host Brazos Cougars by a score of 15-6 last night. This win
improves their district record to 4-1 and overall record to 9-5. Standouts at the plate were Blake Whitley
with 2 hits and 1 RBI, Lane Kolafa with 2 hits and 1 RBI, JJ Talas with 1 hit and 2 RBI’s, Allen Anderson
with 1 hit and 1 RBI, and Edward Garza with 1 hit and 1 RBI. The Brahmas will be back in action this
Friday, at home, as they finish up the first round of district with Van Vleck. A big thank you goes out to
all the fans who came out and supported last night despite the weather.
