The 7A and 8A girls basketball teams competed in the East Bernard Tournament this weekend. Both teams played against Waller to begin tournament play. The 7A took control early with their press being very effective, finishing the game with a score of 39-13. 7A then took on the Needville Bluejays playing very well offensively to go along with their tough defense winning the game 40-6. This win clinched the Championship trophy.
The 8A allowed too many points early in the game against Waller to be able to overcome the deficit. The Brahmarettes lost their first game this season by a margin of 18 points. The final score was 28-46. After the tough loss they took on the Schultz Bulldogs . The Brahmarettes took control from the start winning the 3rd place tournament trophy. We are extremely proud of these young ladies and their success this weekend. Congratulations Brahmarettes!
