EBHS Band Students Compete at Area Auditions

This past Saturday we took 6 kids to compete at Area Auditions in Orange Grove. I am amazingly proud of these students and their accomplishments. It is not easy to Advance to Area. Unfortunately no one advanced to state this year but they all did a great job. Here are their rankings.

Courtney Gomez came in 11th

Mariah Suarez came in 8th

Katelynn Leonards came in 5th

Tony Martinez came in 8th

Sarah Pirtle came in 19th

and Ray Montalbo came in 9th

I am so proud of these wonderful kids and thankful for the support from the awesome staff and community. I also would like to note that Sarah and Ray were one of the small group of freshman who were at the contest at all. You usually don't see freshman students at Area at all.
