EBHS Sub Varsity Football Results



The East Bernard Freshmen football team traveled to Hallettsville to play the Sacred Heart Indians. The Brahmas displayed relentless effort from start to finish, coming away with a hard earned 14-8 win over the Indians. Scoring for the Brahmas was Christian Alcalar with two Touchdowns and a 2 point conversion. The defense played great throughout the game and made big stops late to preserve the win for East Bernard.  The defense was led by Justin Bosse, Hunter Goudeau and Grady Prazak who got an interception with one minute remaining in the game.  The Brahmas wrapped up their season with a 6-1 record and a lot of positives to build on going into next season! 





The East Bernard J.V. team played host to the visiting Tidehaven Tigers on Thursday night. The Brahmas turned in another dominating performance to finish their season off with a perfect 10-0 record. The Brahmas were dominate on both sides of the ball, scoring on every possession and forcing 4 turnovers. Offensively the Brahmas were led by Thomas Long who scored two touchdowns, Braden Janecek with a touchdown, Cade Koeppen with a touchdown, Zachary Gohlke with two 2-pt conversions, and Trevor Bagby with a 2-pt conversion. Thomas Long converted 2 PAT’s. Defensively, the Brahmas were led by Thomas Long who had a pick 6, Layton Swoboda who had an interception, Cade Koeppen who forced a fumble which was recovered by Chance Corman, and Logan Baird who recovered a fumble. This win finalizes their season record at 10-0, and district record at 5-0. The East Bernard J.V. Football team wants to extend a sincere thank you for all the support throughout the year.
