The Varsity boys basketball team overcame a sluggish first half to down the visiting Brazos Cougars 70-26.
The Brahmas used tenacious defense to create several scoring opportunities. The varsity's record improved to 9 - 0 in district and looks to wrap up the district championship Tuesday at Rice.
