EBHS CC SFA Lumberjack Invitational Results

The Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country teams competed in the SFA Lumberjack Invitational this past weekend. There were 36 teams with 280 runners competing in the boys race. The East Bernard Varsity boys finished 19th out of the 36 teams. Individually, Bo Badger finished 23rd, Mason Crist was 88th, Kolby Townsend 125th, Austin Drapier 158th, Jackson Barta 160th, and Ethan Rejsek 179th. The boys raced against tough competition and mostly 5A and 6A schools. In the girls race, East Bernard finished 2nd overall competing against 24 teams and 192 runners. Individually, Madison Muzik placed 4th overall to earn medalist honors, Libby Hancock finished 12th, Alyssa Schulte 18th, Kimball Swiger 19th, Samantha Rabius 21st, Emma Alexander 23rd, Aracely Acevedo 44th, and Erica Beaird 48th. Congratulations to all the runners! The teams will be competing in Huntsville this next weekend in the Region III Preview with the boys racing at 9:40 and the girls racing at 10:05.
