The J.V.
girls went 3-1 at the Wharton Tournament and placed 2nd to
Hitchcock. Saturday morning the girls defeated Wharton 42-18. Zoey Talas was
leading scorer with 10 pts. Also scoring for the Brahmarettes were Lexi
Marik-7pts., Taylor Bottoms and McKenna Novicke-6 pts. each, Keatan Fortenberry
and Dakota Domel-4 pts. each, Camryn Whitley and Paige Nixon-2 pts. each, and
Brooke Babin with a free throw.
In the
second game the Brahmarettes lost to Hitchcock 34-35. Paige Nixon was leading
scorer with 7 pts. Also scoring were: Zoey Talas-6 pts., Keatan Fortenberry-5
pts., Lexi Marik, Taylor Bottoms and Camryn Whitley-4 pts. each, and Dakota
Domel and Brooke Babin with 2 pts. each.
The J.V. and
Varsity travel to Hitchcock tomorrow for their first District game of the
season.
