EBHS Softball Vs Brazos Results-- Undefeated District Champions

Four hits from Cheslee Karasek helped lead East Bernard Brahmarettes past Brazos 21-8 on Tuesday. Karasek singled in the first, in the first, doubled in the fifth, singled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.
An early lead helped propel East Bernard Brahmarettes to victory. East Bernard Brahmarettes scored on a error in the first inning, a groundout by Maycie Atteberry in the first inning, a single by Monica Reyna in the first inning, a walk by Morgan Whitley in the first inning, a single by Paige Nixon in the first inning, a single by A.J. Navarro in the first inning, a passed ball in the second inning, and a stolen base in the second inning.
East Bernard Brahmarettes captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for East Bernard Brahmarettes.
Brazos scored three runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Brazos came thanks to a groundout by C McCain and a single by A Garbs.
Katie Sulak earned the win for East Bernard Brahmarettes. She threw five innings, surrendering eight runs, four hits, and striking out nine.
East Bernard Brahmarettes collected 16 hits. Cheslee Karasek, Navarro, Kristin Kieler, Sulak, and Reyna each collected multiple hits for East Bernard Brahmarettes. Karasek led East Bernard Brahmarettes with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 15 stolen bases.
Brazos had six hits in the game. E Mieth and Garbs each collected multiple hits for Brazos. Brazos stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Garbs led the way with four.
