EBHS Girls Basketball Needville & Sealy Results






The Brahmarettes started the New Year off right with three wins last night. The JV White team defeated Sealy, while the JV Maroon and Varsity beat Needville. East Bernard used a strong first half to hold on to defeat the Lady Jays 53-45. Scoring for the Brahmarettes was Maycie Atteberry with 12, Sabrina Show with 10, Julia Janczak with 10, Rebecca Rabius with 6, Cheslee Karasek with 6, Kristen Morse with 5, and Erin Dawson with 4. The win improves the varsity’s record to 12-9 on the season. They will open district play on Friday in Hitchcock, JV Maroon will start at 5:00 with varsity to follow. JV White will play Palacios here at 5:00.







The J.V. Girls Basketball team extended their record to 8-3 last night after defeating Needville in a non-district contest, 54-29. The Brahmarettes held a 33-14 halftime lead and extended that lead in the second half. Leading the way for the Brahmarettes was Mackensi Muzik with 24 points. Also scoring for the team were: Dee Dee Smith-14 pts., Logan Goudeau-7, Brooke Dirba-5 and Blaire Berry-4 pts.

The Brahmarettes will travel to Hitchcock on Friday to play their first District game of the season.



Last night the EB JV White played Sealy. The Brahmarettes led the Tigarettes the entire game winning 38-10! Lead Scorers were Lexi Marik-16, Taylor Bottoms and Dakota Domel-6 each, Tori Koenig-4 and Lauren Rieger, Kenna Novicke and Brooke Babin with 2 each. Brahmarettes played great offensively and defensively. The Brahmarette JV White will play here on Friday against Palacios at 5
