The East Bernard Brahmas traveled to Boling and battled the Bulldogs in a district rival baseball game last night. The Brahmas jumped out to an early lead with 3 runs on 4 hits in the first inning. Derrick Rucka and Justin McGuire started the big inning with back to back base hits. Cole Koeppen then follow it up with base clearing triple. Caemen Mayfield then hit a double that brought the third run across the plate. Koeppen drove in 2 more runs in the third and another one in the fourth inning.
The Brahmas only gave up one run on 7 hits in a combined pitching effort from Kyle Hlavinka and Derrick Rucka. Great job by the Brahmas in defeating the Bulldogs 6-1 and moving their district record to 3-1.
