East Bernard took (8) boys and (2) girls, on Monday & Tuesday
2/14-2/15, and competed in the Sweeny Invitational. The tournament was
held at the Wilderness Golf Course in Lake Jackson.
East Benard's boy's team placed 9th our of 14 teams. Freshman, Garrett
Losack shot the low round for East Bernard with an (83). Garrett tied
for 7th, out of 89 players. East Bernard's Nathan Tovar, also a
freshman, shot the next best round with a (97). Nathan tied for 36th
out of 89 players.
Freshman Annie Bradley shot at (96) and tied for 6th out of 67
players. Freshman Kara Morse shot a (119) and placed 22nd out of 67
players.
Overall a good start to the golf season.
The boy's and girl's next tournament will be Monday & Tuesday,
2/21-2/22, at the Columbus Golf Course, in Columbus. Tee time - 8:30
a.m. both days
