EBHS Girls Basketball Results



Last night the Brahmarettes traveled to Brazos for their last district game of the 2016-2017 season. Overcoming a slow start, the Brahmarettes were able to outscore Brazos 29-10 in the 2nd half to come away victorious by a final of 43-24. Leading scorers were Rebecca Rabius with 12, Kristen Morse with 9, Maycie Atteberry with 6, Baylee Jankowski with 5, Cheslee Karasek with 4, Sabrina Show with 4, Julia Janczak with 2, and Mackensi Muzik with 1.
 The Brahmarettes finish the regular season with a 19-12 record and 7-3 in district. East Bernard will represent the district as the 2nd seed in the playoffs. First round opponent will be Kountze, details on the game will be sent out once they are agreed upon.

The J.V. girls completed their season last night by defeating Brazos 38-22. Leading the way was Lexi Marek with 12 pts. Also scoring were: Brooke Dirba-10 pts., Taylor Bottoms and Morgan Kubes-5 pts. each, Hayley Hoegemeyer-3 pts., Kenna Novicke-2 pts. and Dakota Domel-1 pt.
