EBHS Girls Basketball Vs La Marque Results
Last night the Brahmarettes traveled to La Marque to take on the Cougars. East Bernard used a strong first quarter to take a commanding lead and never looked back, winning by a final score of 72-41. Leading the scoring for East Bernard was Rebecca Rabius with 21, Maycie Atteberry with 11, Kristen Morse with 10, Sabrina Show with 8, Julia Janczak with 8, DeeDee Smith with 6, Baylee Jankowski with 4, Emily Kurtz with 2, and Cheslee Karasek with 2. The Brahmarettes are now 17-11 on the season and 5-2 in district. They will be back in action, at home, on Tuesday as they host the Danbury Panthers.
The Brahmarettes defeated LaMarque on Friday by a score of 39-19. Leading the way was Mackensi Muzik with 17 pts. Also scoring for the J.V. Team was Taylor Bottoms-13 pts., Hayley Hoegemeyer-5, Brooke Dirba and Alyssa Schulte-2 pts. each. The girls are 7-0 in District and 15-3 overall. The Brahmarettes host Danbury tomorrow and will travel to Terry on Friday to take on the Rangers.
On Friday EB Girls JV White team competed against the Palacios Sharkettes. The Brahmarettes started out very strong and stayed on top the entire game. Winning over all 28-9. Lead scorers were Lexi Marik-8, Brooke Babin, Lauren Rieger, Reagan Greake, and Tori Koenig with 4 each. Paige Romero and Dakota Domel 2 each. The Brahmarettes will pick back up tomorrow playing the Sealy Tigers in Sealy at 5. Thank you for all the continued support.
