EBHS Girls Basketball vs Hitchcock Results

Last night the Brahmarettes opened up the second half of district play against the #6 ranked Hitchcock Bulldogs. The Brahmarettes battled hard the entire game, but came up just short losing by a final score of 53-46. Leading the scoring for East Bernard was Kristen Morse with 12, Rebecca Rabius with 11, Julia Janczak with 7, Maycie Atteberry with 7, Erin Dawson with 5, and Sabrina Show with 4. The loss brings the Brahmarettes overall record to 16-11 and 4-2 in district. They will travel to La Marque on Friday night for a big district contest.









The J.V. girls defeated Hitchcock last night 33-28. DeeDee Smith was the leading scorer with 11 pts. Also contributing were: Emily Kurtz-7pts., Mackensi Muzik-6, Brooke Dirba-5, and Blaire Berry-4 pts. The Brahmarettes are 6-0 in District and 14-3 on the season. They will travel to La Marque on Friday to take on the Cougars.
