EBHS Girls Basketball Vs Brazos Results

The Brahmarettes played host to the Brazos Cougars on Friday night. Despite a slow start, East Bernard was able to pull away for the victory by a score of 44-35. Leading the scoring for the Brahmarettes was Rebecca Rabius with 16, Erin Dawson with 6, Kristen Morse with 6, Cheslee Karasek with 5, Emily Kurtz with 5, Calyn Grymes with 2, Cheyenne Novicke with 2, and Sabrina Show with 2. The Brahmarettes round out the first half of district play with a record of 4-1 and an overall record of 15-10. They will host Hitchcock on Tuesday, JV beginning at 5:00 with varsity to follow.









The J.V. Girls Basketball Team remained undefeated in District play in a physical contest against Brazos. The Brahmarettes never trailed and defeated the Cougars 49-18. Mackensi Muzik was the leading scorer with 19 pts. Also scoring were: Lexi Marik and Brooke Dirba-8 pts. Each, Morgan Kubes-6, Hayley Hoegemeyer and Blaire Berry-3 pts. Each, and Bailey Whitley-2 pts.

The girls will host Hitchcock on Tuesday and travel to LaMarque on Friday.
