EBHS Girls Basketball Wharton Tournament Results

The Brahmarettes faced Van Vleck to open up Tournament play this morning in Wharton. In their second game of the season, East Bernard hung tough but fell short in the end losing by a final of 42-34. Scoring for the Brahmarettes was Cheslee Karasek with 11, Sabrina Show with 8, Rebecca Rabius with 5, Maycie Atteberry with 4, Kristen Morse with 4, and Baylee Jankowski with 2.

The second game of the day featured the Brahmarettes against Hitchcock. East Bernard was defeated by a final score of 71-38. Scoring for the Brahmarettes was Sabrina Show with 11, Julia Janczak with 8, Rebecca Rabius with 6, Maycie Atteberry with 6, Emily Dawson with 5, and Baylee Jankowski with 2.

The Brahmarettes will be back in action tomorrow against Bellville at 9:00, and against Stafford at 1:30.



The East Bernard Brahmarettes traveled to Wharton for day 2 of the tournament and came away with two well-earned victories. The first game featured East Bernard versus Stafford with the Brahmarettes coming out on top by a score of 34-27. Leading scorers were Julia Janczak with 9, Sabrina Show with 8, Maycie Atteberry with 6, and Rebecca Rabius with 3. Baylee Jankowski, Cheslee Karasek, Kristen Morse, and Erin Dawson each added a bucket to round out the scoring at 34.

The second game of the day featured your Brahmarettes versus Bellville. East Bernard earned the victory by a score of 35-28. Leading scorers were Sabrina Show with 11, Maycie Atteberry with 10, Rebecca Rabius with 10, Erin Dawson with 2, and Kristen Morse with 2.

The Brahmarettes will be back in action tomorrow at 10:30 and 1:30 against Rice and Wharton.




The Brahmarettes were back in action today for the third day of the Wharton Tournament. In their first game of the morning, East Bernard used tough defense to defeat Rice Consolidated by a score of 40-29. Leading the charge for the Brahmarettes was Julia Janczak with 17 points, Maycie Atteberry with 12, Sabrina Show with 4, Cheslee Karasek with 3, Rebecca Rabius with 2, and Kristen Morse with 2.



In their second game of the day, the Brahmarettes battled hard but fell short to Wharton by a score of 52-30. Scoring for East Bernard was Rebecca Rabius with 10, Maycie Atteberry with 9, Julia Janczak with 7, Sabrina Show with 2, and Erin Dawson with 2.



The Brahmarettes went 3-3 in a very tough tournament and have made major improvements in their short season thus far.

The Brahmarettes will be back in action on Tuesday, at home. The JV White will play El Campo at 5:00, with the JV Maroon and Varsity to follow against Columbus. approximate game times are 6:15 and 7:30 for JV Maroon and Varsity.
