EB 7th Grade
Football vs Bloomington 1-13-16
The 7th grade Brahmas came away
with a hard fought 28-0 victory over the visiting Bloomington Bobcats at
Memorial Stadium. Dallas Novicke got the
scoring started with a40 yard touchdown run.
Novicke also threw a 45 yard touchdown pass to Weston Swoboda in the 2nd
quarter. Swodboda also scored a
touchdown in the 3rd quarter.
Erik Esquivel added a 30 yard touchdown run and Zach York added a 2
point conversion to round out the scoring for the Brahmas. Other offensive
standouts for the Brahmas were David Zavalla, Bryan Olvera, Nathan Weid, Evan
Wilson and Peyton Kopecky. The Brahma
defense pitched their second shutout in a row and were led by Boone Lee, Luke
Minks, Kahliel Salazar and Samuel Coker.
The 7th grade Brahmas are now 4-1 on the season and 2-1 in
district. Their next game is October 20th
at Shiner at 5:00.
