Football vs Edna 9-8-16
The 7th grade Brahmas came away
with a hard fought 22-6 victory over the visiting Edna Cowboys on 9-8-16. Dallas Novicke threw for a touchdown, had an
interception return for a touchdown and score a 2 point conversion in the
win. Also scoring for the Brahmas were
Erik Esquivel with a touchdown run, Bryan Olvera with a touchdown catch and
Zach York with a 2 point conversion run.
Other offensive standouts for the Brahmas were Carson Kubicek, Sammy Coker,
Miquel Rendon, Peyton Kopecky and Nathan Weid.
The Brahma defense help the Cowboys scoreless for the last three
quarters to secure the win. Defensive
Standouts were Weston Swoboda, Blake Jedlicka, Mark Glover and Luke Minks. The Brahmas are now 1-0 on the season and
will play Van Vleck at home in their next game.
