EBHS Band Members Spent an Afternoon with a DCI Corps

The EBHS Mighty Marching Brahma Band was fortunate to be invited to spend an afternoon with a Drum Corps International group known as the Oregon Crusaders. They are made up of kids age 15 though 21. They audition for a spot and spend all summer touring and competing.

The students spent 35 dollars of their own money and came to visit and rehearse with the corps from 2-5pm on July 26th. They then ate supper with them and got to watch a private performance of their marching show. Unfortunately it was bad weather so they had to perform indoors but it was an awesome experience for the kids and they had a great time meeting up with students of their own age. We took 11 students to the event: Liz Britton, David Britton, Ryan Reyna, Taylor Buxkemper, Sarah Pirtle, Alex Fuentes, Calyn Grymes, Joci Witt(new freshman colorguard transfer from Reading JH) Anallely Rendon, Valarie Garza, and Chris Murrile.  Below are some pictures from the event.
