The Varsity Brahmarettes started the second round of district play with a tough hard fought victory at Boling last night. The Brahmarettes improved to 5-2 in district play with the win. Scoring for the Brahmarettes were Malynn Plunkett - 15; Kristen Morse - 10; Kelbi Fortenberry - 6; Jessica Rabius - 4; Hallye Mica 3; Sabrina Show - 3; Cheyenne Novicke - 2; Bailey Hlavinka - 2; Julia Janczak - 2; Rebecca Rabius 2; Corrina Navarro - 1. The Brahmarettes will be back in action this Friday January 22nd against district leading Hitchcock at home. Game time is 6:15.
The freshmen girls lost to El Campo on Tuesday, 31-55. Scoring for the Brahmarettes were Cheslee Karasek-20, Deaundra Smith-9, and Hayley Hoegemeyer-2.
