EBHS 9th/JV Football Results



The East Bernard J.V. Football team turned in a commanding 65-0 victory over the Brazos Cougars last night to remain undefeated on the season. Scoring for the Brahmas was Braden Janecek with two touchdowns, Cade Koeppen with two touchdowns, Zachary Gohlke with a touchdown and 2-pt conversion, DeLeon Perkins with a touchdown and 2-pt conversion, Taihron Nichols with a touchdown, Thomas Long with a touchdown, Layton Swoboda with a touchdown, and Trevor Bagby with two 2-pt conversions. Thomas Long added 3 PAT’s to finish off the scoring at 65. The Brahmas played very well defensively, forcing three interceptions. These were hauled in by Taihron Nichols, DeLeon Perkins, and Braden Janecek. The shutout for the Brahmas makes it 4 on the season in only 7 games. The Brahmas will be back in action at home on Thursday, October 22, against Van Vleck. 


The East Bernard Freshmen football team hosted the Foster Falcons yesterday at Memorial Stadium.  The Brahmas set the tone early on defense forcing the Falcons to go 3 and out. The Brahmas jumped out to an early lead and never looking back on their way to a 34-0 win. Scoring for the Brahmas was Hunter Goudeau with two touchdowns, Joey Stearman with two touchdowns and Isaac Munoz with a touchdown. Christian Alcalar converted a two point conversion as well. The defense played great throughout the game and shut down the Falcon attack.  The defense was led by Sammy Sims and Mason Vasut who had multiple tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Justin Bosse also contributed in a big way on the defensive side of the ball with a big interception for the Brahma “D”.  The win brings the Freshman record to 3-1 on the year.
