7th Grade
The 7th grade basketball played host to the
Panthers of Danbury, yesterday. The Brahmas gave outstanding effort all night
and came away with two wins. The B team won by a final score of 18-6, scoring
for the Brahmas was Kameron Matthews with 6, Riley Henke with 2, Douglas Grymes
with 2, Nathan Aguilar with 2, Jose Quintero with 2, Ethan Hlavinka with 2, and
Efrain Lopez with 2. Leading the Brahmas on defense was Keith Atkinson, Jose
Cubias and Seth Horelica. Their season record is now 2-4.
The 7th Grade A team won by a final score of 38-16,
scoring for the Brahmas was Reagan Whitley with 18, Tanner Baggett with 8,
Ethan Rejsek with 5, Brock Aschenbeck with 2, JR Schauer with 2, Ryan Morse
with 2, and Colby Jedlicka with 1. Leading the Brahmas on defense was Cole Lee,
Shane Hlavinka, and Bo Badger. Their
season record is now 3-2. Their season record is now 4-2. On Saturday, January
10, the A team hosts their annual Jr. High basketball tournament, then both
teams will be back in action on Monday, January 12 in Van Vleck.
