The
JV Boys Basketball team took home a win against the Sealy Tigers Friday night
by a score of 28-17. Putting together another fine defensive performance,
the Brahmas have improved to an overall record of 5-2 with a 3 game winning
streak.

JV Boys Vs Brazos 1-2-15
The JV boys basketball team began
district play with a tough road loss against Brazos by a score of 25-22.
The Brahmas played hard but were not able to get enough shots to fall.
Varsity Boys Vs Brazoz 1-2-15
The
Brahma Boys Varsity Basketball Team opened up their district season with a
60-23 road win over the hosting Cougars.
The Brahmas used a
strong defensive game to take control.
The Brahmas next game will
be Tuesday at home as the Bobcats of Hempstead come to town.
Varsity Girls Vs Brazos 1-2-15
The Varsity Brahmarettes
went to Brazos Friday and
picked up a big district win by the score of 44-16. Scoring for the
Brahmarettes were Kristen Morse - 11 points, Samantha Show - 8 points, Hallye
Mica - 6 points, Malynn Plunkett - 4 points, Rebecca Rabius - 4 ponts, Angie
Cruz - 3 points, Aliska Schmidt - 3 points, Sabrina Show - 3 points, Bailey
Hlavinka - 2 points. The Brahmarettes are 2-1 in district and will play
Hempstead tomorrow at
home at 6:15 in
another big district matchup.
JV Girls Vs Brazos
The JV Girls defeated Brazos on Friday 42-5. The Brahmarettes held the Cougarettes scoreless in the second half. Corrinna Navarro was high point with 14 points. Also scoring for the team: Mackenzie Wilkerson-12 pts., Randi Goates-8 pts., Brooke Polak-4 pts. and Jessica Rabius and Maycie Atteberry with 2 pts. each.
The girls host Hempstead on Tuesday at 5:00 and are Open on Friday.
The JV Team is 11-3 on the season and undefeated in District play.
