The Varsity Brahmarettes went to Danbury last night and came away with a big district win. The final score was 34-30. Scoring for the Brahmrettes were Samantha Show - 11 points; Kristen Morse - 10 points; Sabrina Show - 7 points; Hallye Mica - 2 points; Aliska Schmidt - 2 points; Malynn Plunkett - 1 point; Rebecca Rabius - 1 point. The Brahmarettes are now 4-1 in district and have a big district match up with Van Vleck at home Friday January 16th. Game time is 6:15.
Freshmen
The Freshmen Girls defeated Sealy last night 39-14 to improve their season record to 11-4. Scoring for the Brahmarettes were Kristin Kieler- 10, Mackensi Muzik-8, Jillian Hlavinka-5, Emily Kurtz-4, Emily Dawson-4, Shea Potts-2, Taylor Swoboda-2, Blair Berry-2, and Bailey Whitley-2.
The girls will be back in action Friday at 5 in Brazos.
