The JV Girls
Basketball team defeated Danbury Friday night by a score of 29-16. The
Brahmarettes were down 4-9 at the half.
They scored 25 second half points to defeat the Panthers and stay
undefeated in District play. Angie Cruz led the way defensively. Scoring for
the team were the following girls: Kristen Morse-7 pts., Rebecca Rabius-6 pts.,
Hallye Mica and Bailey Hlavinka-4 pts. each, Angie Cruz and Malynn Plunkett-3
pts. each, and Linsdsey Matej with a bucket.
The girls
have an overall record of 14-2 and 7-0 in District. They will resume play at
home on Friday against Boling.
