EBHS Girls Basketball Results

The JV Girls hosted Bloomington tonight in a non district contest. They held Bloomington to 2 pts. the first half thanks to their defensive steals in their full court press. Madison Crist helped lead the way with 10 pts. Camryn Whitley and Jolie Peloquin had 8 pts. each. Scoring 4 pts. each were Reagan Goudeau, Courtney Dickson and Samantha Rabius. Peyton McGuire and Lauren Rieger scored 2 pts. each. Reagan Korenek, Peyton McGuire, Madison Crist and Jolie Peloquin were defensive standouts tonight.Final score was 42-5.


The JV Girls are 5-0 on the season and travel to Hallettsville Thursday for a two day tournament.




Tonight the Brahmarettes hosted Bloomington for their third game of the season. Using a strong 3rd quarter, the Brahmarettes were able to pull away and secure a 48-31 victory to improve their season record to 2-1. Leading the scoring was Erin Beaird with 12, Cheslee Karasek with 11, Deedee Smith with 7, Dakota Domel with 5, McKenna Novicke with 4, Zoey Talas with 4, Keatan Fortenberry with 2, Lexi Marik with 2, and Brooke Babin and with 1. Leading the Brahmarettes defensively was Brooke Dirba, Taylor Bottoms, and Paige Nixon. The Brahmarettes will be back in action Thursday morning as they travel to take part in the Schulenburg tournament. First game is at 9:20. Thank you for the continued support!
