While cleaning out old files and cubby holes, the Journalism students came across some very old newspapers from EBISD, dating back to as far as 1927-1928!  We thought we'd share so you could take a wonderful trip down memory lane, just as we have.  You can access them by using this link: https://www.ebisd.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=693036&type=d&pREC_ID=1129681

EBHS Track Accomplishments

EBISD Community,

We are extremely proud of our girls' track team having an outstanding season as well as earning the TGCA awards that Coach Slanina shared.  I also wanted to share that Coach Slanina has been selected by the Texas Girls Coaches Association as the TGCA All-Star Track and Field Coach for the class 1,2,3,4-A track team!  She will be recognized at the summer clinic in Arlington and also has multiple responsibilities while she is there (meetings, demonstrations and other presentations). It has also been brought to my attention that her father received this same award 20+ years ago when he was coaching!
I have gotten to see, first hand, the work that Keri puts in with her track athletes.  She is extremely deserving of this award!  Please join me in congratulating her on being chosen as the TGCA All-Star Track & Field Coach!

Jessica Rabius and MacKensi Muzik have been selected as members of the Legacy All-Star Track Team by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. They are 2 of the 18 Seniors selected in Class 1A-4A. (Athletes must be nominated by their Head Coach and Coach must be a member of the Texas Girls Coaches Association.)

All 8 State Medalists have been named to the 2018 All State Track and Field Team AND Academic All State Team by the Texas Track and Field Coaches Association. Please Congratulate the following girls if you see them!

Zoey Talas
