EBHS Girls Basketball vs Danbury







The East Bernard Brahmarettes traveled to Danbury tonight and came home with a hard fought victory. The girls used tough defense to earn the victory by a final score of 50-27. Leading the scoring for the Brahmarettes was Cheslee Karasek with 17, Mackensi Muzik with 9, Jessica Rabius with 7, Deedee Smith with 6, Julia Janczak with 6, Emily Kurtz with 4, and Erin Dawson with 1. Leading the charge defensively was Blair Berry, and Taylor Bottoms. The win improves the Brahmarettes overall record to 16-7 on the season and 5-2 in district play. The Brahmarettes will be back in action on Tuesday, January 30, in Rice.









The J.V. girls defeated Danbury tonight 42-5. Leading all scorers was Zoey Talas with 8 pts. Also scoring for the Brahmarettes were: McKenna Novicke, Paige Nixon, Brooke Babin, Erin Beard-6 pts. each, Camryn Whitley-4 pts., Lexi Marik, Dakota Domel and Alyssa Schulte-2 pts. each.

The team is 14-3 overall and 5-1 in District. They will resume play one week from Tuesday when they travel to Rice.
